For those seeking a quieter, more natural fishing experience, Mission Lake, located near Hatley, WI (southeast of Wausau), is a great alternative. It is smaller and less developed than Lake Wausau, making it ideal for shore fishing or small boat fishing.

I've proudly won several local fishing leagues and tournaments, which has fueled my passion for the sport. One of the highlights of my fishing adventures has been competing on the Wisconsin Musky Tour (W.M.T.) circuit. There's nothing quite like the thrill of casting a line in pursuit of those elusive muskies!
Throughout my career in finance, my true passion has always been the waters of central Wisconsin, where I've spent my entire life. I am now embarking on a new chapter by opening my own guide service, a long-held dream. I love sharing my experiences with fellow anglers and learning from others in the community. We fish from a fully rigged Alumacraft boat, powered by a Mercury motor, and equipped with a trolling motor and advanced fishing electronics. While we provide all the necessary tackle to target your desired species, you are more than welcome to bring your own rod and reels if you prefer to use your personal gear.

For more serious anglers or anyone wanting the full Wausau fishing experience, our full-day trips offer extended time on the water and access to more spots and species......$475.00.
A $100 deposit is due at booking to reserve your date. If there is a thunderstorm or other inclement weather (not rain), we will work with you to reschedule your trip for a different date.
